Hey, are you surrounded by negative people who often complain about situations or circumstances they can’t control, but if you want to become successful you must create a positive attitude.

 

So here is the question: how do you recognise people with a positive attitude?

Well just as the absence of ill health does not equal good health, similarly the absence of negativity doesn't make a person positive. 

People with a positive attitude or attitude of gratitude have certain personality traits that are easy to recognise . They are caring, confident, patient and humble. They have high expectations of themselves and others. They expect positive outcomes. 


Positive people  with positive attitude:

. Make for a pleasing personality.

.Is energizing and invigorating.

.Gives fulfillment and makes life meaningful.

.Focus on positives.

.Others feel good with them.

.Always gives genuine and positive feedback.


Negative attitude :

.Bitterness

.Resentment.

.Discontentment.

.Frustration.

.Ill health.

.High stress for self and also for his family life.

.Feeling bad always.

 Step 1: Change focus, look for positive:


You need to become  a seeker of good. You need to focus on the positive in your life. Start looking for what is right  in a person or situation instead of looking for what is wrong. Because of our conditioning most of us  are so attuned to finding faults and looking for what is wrong that we often forget to see what's positive, and also surround ourselves with positives .

But here is a thing: looking for positives doesn't mean overlooking faults. Being a positive thinker does not mean one has to agree or accept everything. It only means that a person is solution focused.


Step 2 Be an optimist :



How can one be optimist well lets understand:

Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk about health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel that you appreciate their good qualities and strengths genuinely. Spending time with people like you is also a good option and stop spending time with one who has a bad attitude.


Step 3 Make habit of doing now :



We have all procrastinated at some time  or another in our lives. I know I have , only to have regretted it later. Procrastination leads to a negative attitude.

“A completed task is fulfilling and energizing; an incomplete task drains energy”

Why do people procrastinate?

One major reason is, procrastination is an escapist attitude.

Most people keep postponing because they don't have the courage to face up to the consequences and hence they keep postponing.


Step 4  Develop an attitude of gratitude :


Gratitude reflects humility. It keeps  grounded. itn  is a great philosophy to live by,’ never ever forget what others have done for you  and nerve remember what you have done for others Count your blessing not your troubles. And it doesn't mean that a person should become complacent. 


Step 5 Build  high self esteem :


First of all what is this self esteem?


Self esteem is the way we feel about ourselves. When we feel good, the world looks nice, productivity goes up and our relationships are a lot better.


How do you build self esteem?


If you want to build self esteem quickly ,one of the ways is to do something for those who cannot repay you in cash or kind.

Whenever we do something positive in life, even if no one is watching, we rise a little bit in our own eyes and vice-versa.


Step 6 Stay away from negative influence :



Negative influences are people, drugs, Alchol, pornography, profanity etc . All negative influence pull people down.it depletes energy that could have been used constructively, to achieve new things.

Impressionable minds get influenced by adult behaviour and the media. At all stay away from negative influences .

 

Step 7 learn to like the things that need to be done :



Does an athlete always like to go for practice? Probably not. But he doesn't do it anyway. Some things need to be done whether we like them or not; for example  mothers caring for their young. This may always not be fun  and may even seem painful, but if we learn to like the task, the impossible becomes possible.



Step 8 Start your day with some positive :



Read or listen to something positive first thing in the morning. After a good night's sleep we are relaxed and our subconscious is receptive.it sets the tone of the day and puts us i n the right frame of mind to make the day a positive day.
